With the financial help of Mobius foundation Janani implementing “The Aakar Project” with the theme 'Shaping Reproductive Behavior,' is being implemented in Siddharth Nagar districts of Uttar Pradesh. The primary objective of this project is to increase awareness and acceptance of family planning in the community, enabling them to adopt measures such as sterilization, contraception, and delayed marriage.

On average each block has 4-5 clusters depending on the number of ASHA (and on average 200-250 ASHA working is the block). These meetings are facilitated by a Medical OfficerIn-Charge (MOIC). The Janani team makes sure to attend the cluster meeting and briefing about family planning services. and also discuss upcoming COT/FDS days so that ASHAs are well aware of the day services will be available near to them. If any ASHA needs support to counsel the clients, then Janani visits the field along with her and provides counselling to the eligible clients on FP and contraception.
