Janani does not have any special time for recruitment and is on constant search for bright young men and women. Positions are available only at managerial levels as all other services are out-sourced. Ideally, the candidates should be post-graduates in economics, social sciences, social work or management. Proficiency with computers and a high degree of comfort in dealing with numbers are essential. Janani is a non-profit society and is an affiliate of DKT International, a Washington DC-based charitable organization. Janani has a professional work atmosphere where employees are encouraged to delegate responsibility and to take risks. All decisions are taken collectively and modern technology ensures high levels of exchange of information within the organization. Janani also collaborates with a number of national and international organizations which gives its employees wide exposure. The Janani office has fully staffed crèche facilities for young parents.
